Luxury SpaFinder Magazine to Donate All October 25th Subscription Profits to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
NEW YORK, NY (October 25, 2004) − WHO/WHAT: Luxury SpaFinder Magazine, the largest spa information and lifestyle publication, will donate all subscription profits earned on Monday, October 25th to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and genetic research (www.bcrfcure.org - 1.866.FIND.A.CURE). The magazine's parent company, Spa Finder, Inc., will continue to donate a portion of its magazine subscription revenues, as well as a percentage of the proceeds generated by its spa gift certificate program - the largest such program in the world - through December 30th.
WHY: This year alone, the American Cancer Society estimates that there will be approximately 215,990 new cases of invasive breast cancer in women in the U.S., and 1,450 in men.
