Spa Finder Names Daniel Lizio-Katzen Executive Vice President, Technology and Online Marketing

NEW YORK, NY (February 21, 2006) − Spa Finder, Inc., the global spa resource, has named Daniel Lizio-Katzen to the position of executive vice president of technology and online commerce. Lizio-Katzen, the former VP of US operations for (a Cendant Company) will be responsible for building online advertising and consumer traffic for, the web's largest spa consumer site, while continuing to evolve the site's spa research, spa booking, and search engine marketing programs. He will also lead the rollout of Spa Finder's proprietary online booking platform, The Spa Distribution Network, to travel companies looking to connect with the rapidly growing share of travelers seeking a spa component for their business trips and vacations. The Spa Distribution Network, which premiered on in 2005, enables shoppers to book live inventory at spa properties worldwide, along with air travel and car reservations.

Lizio-Katzen was responsible for managing all U.S. operations for, which offers 21,000+ discounted hotels and apartments in more then 3,000 cities worldwide. He also overhauled the company's US affiliate program, initiating multimillion-dollar partnerships with numerous leading travel brands. To facilitate this growth he led the design and development of a new e-commerce platform - all of which resulted in more than a 3000% increase in top line sales during his tenure. Prior to, he was the primary user interface and product developer for the CitiGroup Private Bank's web-based BEST/GMIC financial reporting application, working directly with Private Bankers to determine product requirements, design future product architecture, and develop product roadmaps.
