Spa Finder Names Milana Knowles as Director of Day Spa Sales and Marketing

NEW YORK, NY (December 18, 2006) − Spa Finder, Inc., the global spa resource, has named Milana Knowles to the newly created position of director of day spa sales and marketing. Knowles, who previously served as general manager for Manhattan's Avon Salon & Spa and vice president of development at The Greenhouse, will draw on her deep industry experience to lead marketing and development for Spa Finder's global day spa network.

Knowles' position was created to help Spa Finder keep pace with the explosive growth in the number of its day spa marketing partners and the evolving sophistication of the day spa industry - which today encompasses everything from medical day spas to baby day spas, spanning virtually every market nationwide. Spa Finder currently works to generate business for 3,500 day spa marketing partners worldwide through its various marketing programs, including Spa Finder Gift Certificates, the largest spa gift certificate program in the world.

At Avon Salon & Spa, Knowles managed all departments and oversaw all marketing and public relations, reorganizing the existing business structure while successfully marketing and branding a luxury aspect of the established Avon brand. Prior to Avon, she served as a business and marketing consultant for New York's Okeanos, where she created and defined a successful high-end, male-only spa concept. As vice president of development at The Greenhouse, she spearheaded all marketing and branding activities, leading the revitalization of the iconic 42-year-old luxury spa brand. Earlier in her career, Knowles served as spa director for multiple Equinox fitness centers in Manhattan.
